Barton Laser Leveling, Inc. is a family owned business based in Hermiston, Oregon.
Our story began in 1985 when Bob and his father, George, started Farm-It Laser Leveling specializing in agricultural land leveling. Many acres were leveled over the next 4 years and the two took on some other excavation work as well. In 1989, Bob was offered a job with Pacific Lasers, Inc. specializing in machine control and estimating software systems.
Bob's responsibilities included sales, installation, training and technical support for the Pacific Northwest region. He eventually opened stores for Pacific Lasers, Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska and Boise, Idaho. Bob performed machine control/grade control training for customers on many large projects including the Sea-Tac Airport runway reconstruction and many other large and small projects too numerous to mention. During the early 90's Pacific Lasers transitioned into Spectra Physics where Bob became part of a three person strategic group doing dealer development for the North America Group covering the United States and Canada. In 1995, when Bob's career advanced to the point of major relocation and more time away from his family, the tough decision was made to end his corporate career and move back home to Hermiston to own and operate the construction business now known as Barton Laser Leveling, Inc.
